For two weeks in May, it is time to hunt both springbok and beaver. Hunting springbok and beaver are two exciting and adventurous forms of hunting that you have the chance to try during this small game hunt in southern Dalarna.

In addition to beaver hunting and deer hunting, we will conduct a lot of activities and workshops in our cozy wilderness camp in the forest. We'll have a fire making class, a coffee making workshop, cooking over an open fire, making feather sticks, chopping wood and hanging out by the fire. There is a wood-fired sauna on site that can be used during the weekend. The camp is located next to a lake and there are boats we can use for fishing.

We have access to a cabin with four beds, but it is also possible to sleep in your own tent or hammock on site. If necessary, we will set up a glamping tent if the cabin is full.

The theme of the weekend's cooking is sustainable local food, game and the forest pantry. Local charcuterie and cheese platters will be tasted by the fire with tasty drinks, smoked game delicacies will be incorporated into the main course and fragrant forest tea will be brewed for breakfast.

Who can sign up for beaver and deer hunting?

This hunting weekend is suitable for both experienced hunters and beginners. Have you just passed your hunting exam but are struggling to get started? Then this is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable new knowledge that will be useful for future hunts.

How does the hunt work?

The hunt is conducted under the guidance of our hunting leader Jonas Åkerberg. Jonas is a trained game master and has many years of experience in various types of hunting.

The starting point is that we hunt in pairs. Four pairs and a total of eight participants alternate between beaver and deer hunting morning and evening. Map with exposed passes is available on site. There is also the possibility of deer stalking.
