Edible wild plants

We tailor experiences for corporate groups
with a focus on fire, outdoor cooking and outdoor living.

Nettles, violets, meadowsweet and fir shoots. In the past, the forest was the people's important pantry where they picked plants, herbs and berries for both food and medicine, a knowledge that today has unfortunately fallen into oblivion. Lots of nutrients, vitamins and minerals are stored in various plants in our immediate vicinity, available to anyone who has the knowledge of these. During this course you will learn to recognize the most common edible plants in our environment, their beneficial properties and history. Many of what we call weeds today were used extensively in the past in both food and medicine. Join us on a tour where we reclaim the knowledge of sustainable wild food in the forest!

During the course, we'll pick tasty ingredients from nature, tasting leaves, herbs and flowers and getting to know the wild and the good. During the second part of the course and when the baskets are full of greens, we light a fire in our outdoor cooking camp to prepare an exciting meal with our harvest. A forest pesto, a fragrant forest tea or perhaps a nettle bread? The imagination sets the limits, the ingredients are behind the crown.
